Asian is a broad porn category of adult entertainment with performers of East and South Asian mostly.
While the genre covers a wide range of aesthetics and storylines, it has been particularly influenced by Japanese culture and its distinctive fetish traditions.

Psychologists say this is part of the colonial worldview — one that perceives Asian women as exotic, submissive, and hyper-feminine.
The stereotype (or fetish) was further reinforced after World War II, when thousands of so-called war brides from Japan and Korea immigrated to the United States.

The book also includes excerpts from official documents, where one can find statements such as “the half-caste woman is physically more attractive than the pure-blooded woman.” The statistics presented there were considered quite indecent by the more conservative elements of Dutch society.
